Highlights from the Grand Poobah:
Our third attempt at the 15th running of the H5 was a smashing attempt at mediocrity indeed. Our first dead A to B trail went reasonably well, even if 500 meters of it was marked on or covered by a train bound for Moncton. Lesson #1 learned.
We had a naming (welcome to D-SOP!),entirely too much beer, which led to bongos, guitars and what I can only assume is a great offence to harmonica players everywhere when I drunkenly accompanied an accoustic cover of Eminem. Lesson #2 learned.
Lesson #3: The Earth is warbly, and we be northerners. Thus - we're going to bump up the time for this weeks run. Hare(s) away at 6:30.
