The H5, established in October 2008, is the best Hash in Halifax-running-on-a-Friday-at 6:30pm that there is. Currently we run Live Hare A to A style trails from the parking lot across from the Garrison Brewery on Marginal Rd.
First thing's first: For those who don't already know,"Hash" refers to the "Hash House" - a Restaurant - in Kuala Lumpur that spawned an international hounds & hare style social running group. If you've landed here expecting something else...on on you go...
Everyone is absolutely welcome - all you need is a liver and sense of humour - runs are non competitive and walkers are welcome. We're currently not a family friendly Hash, so leave the Horrors at home. Hash cash is $3. Beer cash is an additional $5 but your first time out is sponsored by the pack.
